I v březnu pokračujeme s naší poutí napříč historií a dostáváme se do roku 1995. Žánru stále vládnou divoké jungle breakbeaty, objevují se už ale první náznaky zlomeného beatu, který máme s drum & bassem spojený dnes. Čím dál zřetelnější jsou pak rozdílné zvukové polohy, od jazzových pohodiček přes reggae a dubem ovlivněné věci až po plechové temnoty, pomalu ale jistě se tak rodí předchůdci současných subžánrů 👀
Velmi silný rok prožívá Goldie, který vydává nadčasové (haha) album Timeless, i jeho label Metalheadz, kde svou ranou tvorbu vydávají producenti jako Adam F, Alex Reece, Asylum, Dillinja nebo J Majik. Svůj vlastní label Audio Maze zakládá Dr S Gachet, v dalším rozvoji pokračují labely jako Moving Shadow, RAM Records nebo Reinforced Records. Scéně se představují Stakka & K.Tee na nově vzniklém sublabelu Liftin’ Spirit Records, svůj nový pseudonym Concept 2 představují také Andy C a Ant Miles (Origin Unknown/Desired State), svou pozici legendy zlomené scény dále budují Aphrodite, ať už sám nebo jako člen dua Urban Shakedown, i DJ SS (MA2, Sound Of The Future a další) se svým labelem Formation Records ✌️

In March, we continue our journey through history, arriving in 1995. The genre is still dominated by wild jungle breakbeats, but the first hints of the broken beat we associate with drum & bass today are starting to emerge. The differing sound directions are becoming increasingly clear, ranging from jazzy vibes and reggae- and dub-influenced tracks to metallic darkness. Slowly but surely, the precursors to modern subgenres are taking shape 👀
It’s a big year for Goldie, who releases the timeless (pun intended) Timeless album, as well as for his label Metalheadz, where early works by producers like Adam F, Alex Reece, Asylum, Dillinja, and J Majik are released. Dr S Gachet launches his own label, Audio Maze, while established labels like Moving Shadow, RAM Records, and Reinforced Records continue to flourish.
New talents emerge, such as Stakka & K.Tee, debuting on the newly formed Liftin’ Spirit Records sublabel. Andy C and Ant Miles (of Origin Unknown/Desired State fame) introduce a new alias, Concept 2.
