V dubnu se v rámci našeho společného putování napříč historií drum & bassu dostáváme do roku 1996, kdy už pomalu, ale jistě začíná sranda 🤭 Dále roste rozmanitost žánru, tempo zrychluje, zvuk je lepší, kompozice čistší a promyšlenější. A objevuje se i novinka v rámci žánru dosud prakticky nevídaná, živá hudba 👀
Právě tento prvek jako první začal rozvíjet nově vzniklý label Hospital Records a tamní umělci jako Peter Nice Trio či London Elektricity. Zároveň však scéně kralují obvyklí podezřelí v čele s labelem Metalheadz, přidává se Doc Scott se svým novým labelem 31 Recordings, DJ Hype a jeho True Playaz, Ray Keith a jeho Dread Recordings nebo Andy C s RAM Records, Dillinja, DJ Zinc, Ed Rush, Hidden Agenda, J Majik, Peshay, Source Direct a mnozí další. Právě Andy C se pak nově dává dohromady se Shimonem a začínají zásobovat scénu nadčasovými tracky 🔥

In April, our shared journey through the history of drum & bass brings us to 1996, a year when the fun truly starts 🤭. The genre’s diversity continues to grow, tempos are picking up, the sound is improving, and compositions are cleaner and more sophisticated. A new element emerges within the genre—one that was practically unheard of until now: live music 👀
This innovation was first developed by the newly founded label Hospital Records and its artists, such as Peter Nice Trio and London Elektricity. At the same time, the scene is still dominated by the usual suspects, led by Metalheadz, with Doc Scott launching his new label, 31 Recordings, DJ Hype with True Playaz, Ray Keith with Dread Recordings, and Andy C with RAM Records. Other key players include Dillinja, DJ Zinc, Ed Rush, Hidden Agenda, J Majik, Peshay, Source Direct, and many more.
Andy C also forms a new collaboration with Shimon, and together they begin delivering timeless tracks to the scene 🔥
